Fruit Smoothies

It is the peak of summer and there's nothing better than cold drinks. So, I've been making a lot of smoothies lately. Delaney always makes fun of me because he says my smoothies are like fruit milkshakes and not smoothies. But, just because I prefer not to put greens, protein powder and nuts in my smoothie like he does, doesn't mean it's not a smoothie. I like my smoothies to be fruity, creamy and taste like a treat. Even though I'm still getting good for you stuff in them! So if you're wondering how to make a smoothie, there is no right or wrong way. You should make it how you like it.

So, I want to share a really easy smoothie recipe I've been making lately that is seriously so simple. This healthy Strawberry Banana Smoothie is so creamy, perfectly sweet and so delicious. You can substitute the strawberries for any other fruit you like. I've been doing blueberries and also peaches and they are both so good! Try mangos, pineapple, blackberries or any other fruit that you love. The banana and yogurt both make the smoothie really creamy, and the yogurt has really good protein without a lot of calories. I'm also getting probiotics in the yogurt, potassium from the banana and fiber and antioxidants from the strawberries. So, this is the perfect snack to keep me going at the bakery... and I still have room for cookies, which is the most important part.

Here's how to make a Strawberry Banana Smoothie or a Blueberry Banana Smoothie or a Peach Banana Smoothie... it's so simple, you'll be making these every day. You're welcome :)
