I will start this post by saying - this frosting is so good, you cannot even tell it's vegan. I really love making vegan desserts, but they have to be good desserts and not taste "vegan" to me. Delaney is my absolute worst critic though, even our Vegan Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies that everyone loves, and they are one of my all time favorite cookies - he's like "they're okay". But, when he ate this frosting, all he said was "wow, that's really good!". I rest my case.
This vegan chocolate frosting only has a few simple ingredients, and best of all - there's no vegan butter in it! This easy dairy free frosting only has a few simple ingredients and it's so creamy, chocolatey, and delicious! I was never a frosting person growing up. When my mom baked our birthday cakes each year, I would always trade my brother his cake for my frosting. Until I opened the bakery, I couldn't could care less about frosting. I've always preferred a glaze to a frosting. But, frosting has earned its place in my heart over the last ten years. And this smooth and creamy chocolate frosting is one of my favorite recipes to date - seriously!
This Vegan Chocolate Ganache Frosting recipe is enough frosting to frost any of the following:
• 6-inch layer cake
• 9 x 13-inch sheet cake
• 1 dozen cupcakes
• 1 1/2 dozen sandwich cookies

Vegan Chocolate Ganache Frosting
2 tablespoons organic coconut oil, melted
57 grams (2 tablespoons) Vegan Dark Chocolate Ganache
354 grams (2 1/2 cups) organic powdered sugar, sifted
28 grams (1/3 cup) organic Dutch cocoa powder, sifted
1/4 cup organic unsweetened vanilla coconut milk
