Valentine’s Day Rice Crispy Treats
1 Box Made Good Rice Crispy Treats (find here)
6 ounces (170 grams) organic white chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon ColorKitchen Pink Dye
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a double boiler, add about 80% of the white chocolate and melt until it reaches 100°F on a chocolate thermometer. Remove from heat and add in the remaining white chocolate and stir vigorously to melt completely. Allow the chocolate to come down to 89°F before using.
Evenly split the white chocolate into two bowls. Add the pink dye into one bowl and stir to combine completely.
Dip rice crispy treats half way into either the white chocolate or the pink white chocolate and place on the prepared baking sheet. Using the remaining chocolate, drizzle pink onto the white chocolate dipped treats and drizzle white onto the pink chocolate dipped treats.
Place in the fridge to set the chocolate. Store in the fridge or in a cool dry place.
